COVID-19 protocol

Marriott Theatre is committed to providing healthy and safe facilities for audiences, performers, and staff. Marriott Theatre guests are required to wear face coverings and present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an appropriate negative COVID-19 test to attend performances.

Dear Marriott Theatre Family,

Along with all Broadway shows and more than 65 Chicagoland theatres, Marriott Theatre is prioritizing the health and safety of our audiences, artists and staff. We know that our entire audience will never agree on exactly the right path forward, but we ask you to be patient and understanding as we work to responsibly reopen the theatre. Currently, Marriott Theatre guests are required to wear face coverings and present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an appropriate negative COVID-19 test to attend performances in the theatre. (Guests for New Year's Eve with THE 4 C NOTES in the Marriott Lincolnshire Grand Ballroom will be required to wear face masks.)

Please remember that if you are the contact person for a group of ticketholders, we need you to share the news with your group.

Face Masks:
In conjunction with the Governor’s statewide mandate, facial coverings should properly cover the nose and mouth and be worn the entire duration of your visit. Disposable face masks are available at the box office or from our ushers.

COVID-19 Vaccination: Guests need to present proof of full vaccination from COVID-19 with an approved vaccine. Fully vaccinated means the performance date you are attending must be:
•at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA authorized two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or
•at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA authorized single dose COVID-19 vaccine.

Unvaccinated Patrons: Exceptions to the above will be made for guests who are unable to be vaccinated and must provide proof of at least one of the following:
•negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the start of the performance, or
•negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours of the start of the performance
(Tests must be administered by a medical professional, pharmacy or healthcare worker. Any version of a home rapid antigen test will not be accepted.)

Guests may present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test on paper (photocopies are acceptable) or a smartphone. Please have it visible on your device before approaching the entry.

All policies, including ticketing and attendance, are subject to change and ticket holders who do not comply with venue policies at the time of the performance cannot be admitted.
