
Sandy Rustin is one of the “most produced playwrights” in America (American Theatre Magazine). She made her Broadway debut with her comedy, THE COTTAGE. Sandy’s adaptation of DEAR WORLD for NY City Center was a NY Times Critic’s Pick and her stage adaptation of CLUE is currently touring the U.S. Sandy’s play with music, HOUSTON, is in development with Grammy winner, Edie Brickell. Her play, THE SUFFRAGETTE’S MURDER is a winner of the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award and Denver Center Theatre Company’s Women’s Voices Fund and had its world premiere at The DCPA. Her musical adaptation of the film MYSTIC PIZZA premiered at The Paper Mill Playhouse and her new original musical ALWAYS SOMETHING THERE will premiere in Chicago this summer.
