The setting is Florence, Italy. The score is lush and luminous. The story is pure romance. It’s 1953 and Margaret is back at the site of her bittersweet honeymoon. This time she has brought her beautiful daughter, Clara. When Clara’s hat blows off in the piazza, a young Italian man, Fabrizio, returns it. As their eyes meet, it is love at first sight. But all is not as it seems and Margaret tries to stop the romance, until she realizes Fabrizio may be her daughter’s only chance for true love.
