He has appeared in over one hundred plays working in such theatres as Writers, Court, Goodman, La Jolla Playhouse, New York Public, LA's Ahmanson, and Cincinnati Playhouse. He has directed over one hundred plays at TimeLine, Writers, American Players Theatre, Northlight, Indiana Rep, Milwaukee Rep, and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. Favorite roles include Feste, Falstaff, Henry Kissinger (Jeff Award) and Ebenezer Scrooge. He was given the 2010 Spirit Award from Actors' Equity. His website is williambrowndirector.com.
