Noel Carey

Noel is a New York based actor/writer/composer. Recent performance credits include Murder for Two (National Tour) and Million Dollar Quartet (Theatre Under the Stars). His original musicals have been showcased in venues around the city, as well as regionally at theaters like Barrington Stage Co. (Seven Minutes in Heaven) and Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (The Showmen). With his collaborator Julia Mattison, he co-wrote music and lyrics to Noel and Julia's Wayward Brainchildren at Joe's Pub, and Ruby Manger! The Farewell Engagement at Feinstein's 54 Below. Together they also co-created and starred in the award-winning web series "Brooklyn Sound," which took home several laurels at the New York Television Festival, as well as the 2016 Streamy Award for Best Indie. Noel is also a writer/performer with the New York pop-jazz band DVA, as well as the live sketch group Dinner for One, which can be seen performing at The PIT. He is a proud member of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop (Harrington Award) and a graduate of Emerson College (Howard Waldman Award).
