Notes: All non-AEA performers must be willing to turn AEA or understudy. Please do not audition if you are not available for the show and rehearsal dates. **AEA actors - please refer to the AEA website for audition information.**
SEEKING
This one-hour TYA version of Joseph includes an ensemble of men and women (5 of each, able to play high school age), plus a Narrator (male or female) and Character Man (both aged 35 to 45). Ensemble women will play brothers. Actors able to play instruments are a plus (i.e. guitar, violin, sax, percussion). Movement is required for all performers.
PREPARATION
Please prepare one 16 bar cut and bring a second in case the artistic team needs to hear more. Bring your book, an updated headshot / resume, and music in your key. If you play an instrument and can accompany yourself, please do.
Note: This production of JOSEPH is being told in a new way. In your audition preparation, please select music in the style of the show (or directly from the show if you wish) . Think outside the box (i.e. Cannan Days in the style of Amy Winehouse or Adele; Benjamin Calypso in the style of Jack Johnson or Ziggy Marley; One More Angel in the style of Carrie Underwood, etc.).
